LIFT is a boutique full-service 360 advertising agency specializing in creating revenue generating programs and marketing strategies for sports, entertainment and attraction clients. At LIFT, we help launch multiple new businesses from concept to execution including lifestyle brands, touring exhibitions, attractions, festivals, sports and music engagements, and more. 


Reporting to the Media Buyer / Planner, the Media & Promotions Assistant will assist in the development, communication & successful execution of client media buying and planning strategies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, smart, enthusiastic and passionate for sports and entertainment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist media team with development of media and promotions plans
  • Conduct market research on geography, demographics, and media consumption habits to meet client needs 
  • Apply creative and strategic thinking to identify and cultivate promotions partners, conduct outreach, secure promotions opportunities and activate
  • Activate and monitor the performance of media programs
  • Record media campaign costs, reconcile programs and prepare campaign recaps
  • Create and update media records and reports for all accounts
  • Organize and maintain campaign timelines and applicable documentation and ensure projects are on track to meet deadlines, within budget
  • Prepare and inspect detailed documents to ensure advertisements appear as explained in documentation Monitor purchased media ensure advertisements appear as planned and clients are billed or credited accordingly

  • Assist with billing discrepancies, checking contracts, requesting “make goods”, researching avails
  • Attend internal and client status meetings when applicable, tracking next steps for Media Strategy Managers to communicate to the team 
  • Manage trade ticket programs, pledge drives and other media barter programs
  • Traffic all final creative to media outlets and confirm receipt


  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising or Communications - required
  • Minimum of 1 year marketing experience – required | agency experience - preferred
  • Proven success developing and implementing promotional and media programs - required
  • Proven ability managing multiple projects at the same time while prioritizing deliverables day-to-day
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office; including, but not limited to, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets

Working Conditions & Physical Efforts

  • Work is performed in an interior/office work environment
  • May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with colleagues, vendors & customers
  • Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operate equipment
