The Social Media Account Manager is responsible for handling day-to-day communications with clients and assisting with new business pitches. The individual in this role is responsible for the overall success of all accounts under their watch, setting and managing expectations between clients and LIFT, ensuring work product quality, project budget and on time delivery are repeatedly met across each project execution lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and always focused on solutions, detail-oriented, ambitious, and enthusiastic about sports and entertainment with strong written and oral communication skills and a love for all things related to Social Media!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for organizing and maintaining necessary timelines, applicable documentation and ensuring projects are on track, meet deadlines and are within budget
  • Meet with clients for briefings and present proposals for approval
  • Conduct research on clients' products, services, plans, competitors and target markets for competitive assessments; brief agency colleagues on research conducted
  • Develop client marketing and promotion plans ensuring LIFT team agrees with plan and it’s the best advertising solution
  • Assist in account social media strategy, content curation, ideation, and execution
  • Oversee creative production for designated accounts
  • Track spending and record campaign costs, reconcile programs and monitor/manage invoicing schedule
  • Attend internal and client status meetings; tracking next steps for President to communicate to the team
  • Work with design team to implement and oversee creation of collateral materials including creative branding materials, copywriting, design, layout, and production to maintain the integrity of brands (as established in guidelines)
  • Launch and monitor strategy, oversee activations and report on progress
  • Support, execute and monitor promotional program development as needed
  • Provides support for new business pitches/opportunities

Skills & Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or proven interest in live entertainment, sports, attractions
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience- required | agency experience – preferred
  • Demonstrated familiarity with social media planning platforms such as HeyOrca, Sprout Social and Upfluence
  • A history of project management of special programs and campaigns tied to social media
  • A history of being efficient, creative and a possessing a guerilla mentality to creative development
  •  Demonstrated knowledge of advertising principles, strategies and techniques, new media and web development
  • Proven success developing and implementing marketing programs and materials
  • Experience in client-facing roles requiring outstanding verbal & written communication & confidence among leadership
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, approaches to social media campaigns, reporting & listening tools, along with general best practices
  • A history of efficient, and effective communicating with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of materials and/or programs
  • A history being self-motivated, creative and have strong, logical problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritizing deliverables day-to-day
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proven success in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Proven success learning quickly and translating learning into practice and results
  • Proven success with budget management and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and imaginative, approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
  • Skilled working as part of a team as well as solo, with a positive, supportive attitude

Working Conditions & Physical Efforts
